Taste Christmas with these luxury mince pies from celebrated Scottish bakers Walkers Shortbread.
Nothing says Christmas like a mince pie, they’re a beloved seasonal staple and with that first bite you instantly feel more festive. Nibble on when decorating the Christmas tree, serve for friends and family and even treat Santa to one when he delivers the presents. And if you don’t fancy baking your own this Christmas, we’ve got you covered with these indulgence delights.
These mince pies offer sweet fruitiness thanks to the mix of tangy apple, juicy vine fruits and zesty candied citrus peel. This is given a subtle shot of festive flavour with mixed spice and then all delicately encased in a crumbly, shortcrust pure butter pastry. They’re finished with a charming snowflake pastry topping and are generously deep-filled to help fill even the rumbliest of tummies.
The mince pies are baked in small batches to ensure the highest quality and use only the finest ingredients. They are free from artificial colourings, artificial flavourings and artificial preservatives.
The mince pies are presented in Walkers Shortbread’s distinctive tartan-inspired packaging with wintry snowflakes and a fun holographic pattern. Serve straight from the pack or heat in the oven for a warming winter treat.
Walkers Shortbread was founded in 1898 when the Walker family started baking shortbread in the secluded village of Aberlour in the Scottish highlands. Since then, their baking has become a true Scottish classic, much loved across the world.
Allergy advice: These mince pies are suitable for vegetarians. Contains MILK, WHEAT and SULPHUR DIOXIDE. May also contain NUTS and EGGS. For allergens, see ingredients in BOLD CAPITALS.
Each and every morning, my favourite cup of tea would be English Breakfast. It’s strong, it’s coloury, it’s got a wonderful nutty flavour that I really do enjoy, and it takes the milk well.
William Manning, Senior Tea TasterIn the UK Head Office we taste over 500 cups of tea every day, to search for the best quality teas available from around the world.
Dominic Marriot, Tea TasterLater on in the afternoon I might try something like a Darjeeling that has the muscatel flavour, or maybe even a high-grown Ceylon, but definitely my favourite brew, and the one that I drink the most of, is English Breakfast.
