The Green Tea Duet brings together delicious Chinese green teas with iconic British architecture. Presented inside a cute, mint-green Big Ben pack is our Green Tea Pure and Jasmine Romance blends – two completely natural and especially delicious green infusions. Whether for yourself or a loved one, this little landmark makes a sweet and sophisticated souvenir from a visit to the capital.
To create our Green Tea Pure, our Tea Masters select fine green teas from China’s Jiangxi, Anhui and Zhejiang provinces. Known as the ‘Golden Triangle’, this area is renowned for the quality of its tea production. We include quality Chun Mee leaf and tips in the blend, a tea prized for its toasty, almost nutty taste. Ours is harvested in the early spring when the tea has the most delicate, sweet flavour.
For our Jasmine Romance, we layer the same green tea blend with real jasmine buds, leaving them to infuse over several nights to get the right balance. The outcome is two rounded infusions rich in dried grass notes, one delightfully simple, the other singing with fragrant jasmine. Both teas are made with 100% natural ingredients, letting the finesse of the Chun Mee and jasmine shine through. They’re also a great natural source of antioxidants and nutrients, making these two teas worth clocking off for. Enjoy throughout the day whenever you need an uplifting and refreshing brew. Our Jasmine Romance blend has even won a Great Taste award. The judges praised it for having “a bright, clean tea base with appealingly sweet and fresh jasmine character”.
Inside the stylish gold-detailed clock tower packaging, you’ll find 10 teabags of each brew, giving you 20 cups of delectably sweet and sunny green tea. We individually foil-wrap each teabag for freshness, meaning every cup tastes exactly as Mother Nature intended. Brew in hot water at around 80 to 85°C so the pureness of the tea is preserved, and no bitterness is drawn out.
If you’re looking for a tea to help restore a little balance, the Green Duet is music to the ears! Green tea is great for relaxing the mind, refreshing the palate and aiding healthy digestion. Drink after dinner or try in place of richer black teas in the afternoon. You can also enjoy these teas cold by steeping in a little hot water (with sugar to taste) then diluting with chilled water. Serve with ice and lemon slices for an unquestionably refreshing, light summer serve.

Each and every morning, my favourite cup of tea would be English Breakfast. It’s strong, it’s coloury, it’s got a wonderful nutty flavour that I really do enjoy, and it takes the milk well.William Manning, Senior Tea Taster
In the UK Head Office we taste over 500 cups of tea every day, to search for the best quality teas available from around the world.Dominic Marriot, Tea Taster
Later on in the afternoon I might try something like a Darjeeling that has the muscatel flavour, or maybe even a high-grown Ceylon, but definitely my favourite brew, and the one that I drink the most of, is English Breakfast.William Manning , Senior Tea Taster
