Put the kettle on and get ready to start dunking with these delicious hand-baked cookies from the award-winning Island Bakery.
Sweet FA is a new range of cookies created by Island Bakery’s Chief Biscuit Engineer Fiona Aitali…. which is where the FA comes from! Fiona is a baker-extraordinaire, and has been with us since our early days baking bread and pastries in our shop on Tobermory’s Main Street. After being diagnosed as Coeliac, she has been devoting her skills to gluten-free baking. We were so taken with the cookies she created that we just had to put them into production.
They really are gluten-free cookies like no other we have ever tried. A special blend of flours (none of that sand-like rice flour found in so much wheat-free baking) and generous proportions of delicious additions make for indulgent treats that anyone can enjoy (really!). In addition to being gluten-free, they are also Vegan, and Organic too of course.
The Island Bakery specialises in handmade organic biscuits and is based on the picturesque Isle of Mull. This Scottish island is known for its unspoilt landscapes, and as such the bakery uses ovens powered by local renewable energy.

Customer Reviews
Each and every morning, my favourite cup of tea would be English Breakfast. It’s strong, it’s coloury, it’s got a wonderful nutty flavour that I really do enjoy, and it takes the milk well.
William Manning, Senior Tea TasterIn the UK Head Office we taste over 500 cups of tea every day, to search for the best quality teas available from around the world.
Dominic Marriot, Tea TasterLater on in the afternoon I might try something like a Darjeeling that has the muscatel flavour, or maybe even a high-grown Ceylon, but definitely my favourite brew, and the one that I drink the most of, is English Breakfast.
