Our Supreme Lemon & Matcha is a fresh, citrusy blend that packs a flavourful punch while looking after you too. Grassy teas, luscious lemon and cool mint all combine to deliver the ultimate expression of our much-loved Chinese green tea. It’s a scintillating cuppa to help you flourish throughout the day.
For this invigorating blend, our Tea Masters create a base of premium green tea from China’s Jiangxi, Anhui and Zhejiang provinces. This area is also known as ‘The Golden Triangle’ of green tea due to the quality of the teas grown there. To this we add matcha, a finely ground Japanese green tea, for its bright, grassy flavour. As its ground from the whole tea leaf, matcha is far more concentrated that regular green tea. Packed with antioxidants and caffeine, it gives a truly revitalising cuppa. Fragrant lemon verbena and our natural lemon flavouring bring the blend alive with a burst of citrus. Spearmint and peppermint complement with their cooling menthol freshness. All in all, it’s a finely balanced blend that makes a rounded, cleansing cuppa.
Our pyramid teabags bring connoisseur and convenience together in style. Busy tea lovers can now enjoy all the refined flavours of luxury loose leaf tea, with none of the fuss. The pyramid bags allow the premium ingredients to properly infuse, bringing you a full-flavoured cup every time. Enjoy the zesty aromas of lemon balm and mint as they rise from your cup and watch the tea infuse into a greenish-gold hue. It's the easiest way to enjoy the very best in flavoured green tea.
You’ll find 15 pyramid teabags in every box of Ahmad Tea’s Supreme Lemon & Matcha Tea, sealed inside so they reach you fresh and full of flavour. Drink this brisk brew whenever you need to feel refreshed and re-energised. The caffeine-rich matcha and invigorating citrus flavours are a great way to awaken the senses at the start of the day. In the summertime it also makes a delicious iced tea. Simply steep the teabag with a little hot water and sprinkle of sugar, then dilute with chilled water. It makes a lovely cooler to serve at garden parties, offering your guests a healthier alternative to sugary soft drinks.
Each and every morning, my favourite cup of tea would be English Breakfast. It’s strong, it’s coloury, it’s got a wonderful nutty flavour that I really do enjoy, and it takes the milk well.
William Manning, Senior Tea TasterIn the UK Head Office we taste over 500 cups of tea every day, to search for the best quality teas available from around the world.
Dominic Marriot, Tea TasterLater on in the afternoon I might try something like a Darjeeling that has the muscatel flavour, or maybe even a high-grown Ceylon, but definitely my favourite brew, and the one that I drink the most of, is English Breakfast.
