Our Cardamom Tea is a uniquely flavoured, exotic brew that fans of our Earl Grey or Chai Spice will love. It is actually our best-selling tea worldwide.

To make it, our Tea Masters create a black tea blend featuring lots of quality Kenyan leaves. This gives the brew its crisp but mature character – a perfect backdrop for the uniquely herbal, slightly menthol green cardamom. We use a special cardamom flavour that complements the black teas with its warm aromatic spiciness.

Cardamom is a popular spice across Asia, the Middle East and Europe. In India it’s used in savoury and sweet dishes – from rice biryanis to creamy desserts – while in Turkey and Lebanon it’s ground into coffee. The Scandinavians love it to flavour their baking, while recently, chefs in the UK have been experimenting with cardamom and chocolate. At Ahmad Tea, though, we still think it’s best in a brew, adding its exotic aroma to a nice cuppa…

Our Cardamom Tea makes a versatile brew. Served lightly steeped it’s like a more exotic Earl Grey. Enjoy it like they do in the Middle East by serving it strong, black and with lots of sugar. Alternatively, drink it well brewed with a splash of milk as a rich, soothing cuppa, similar to a warming spiced chai tea.

The box shows James Baker Pyne’s Eastern "View of the Castle and Garden, Windsor Castle, 1838", a scene dominated by the castle’s magnificent garden fountain.

Superb

A warming, comforting brew. I drink this in preference to usual English breakfast tea now as just so delicious and refreshing. A superb balance of flavours, the cardamom infusion works exceptionally well with the black tea.

Simply Divine

The Ahmad Cardamon tea is so unique. I bought it for the first time in the shop at the Mosque in Clonskea and was so impressed. The taste and aroma are simply divine. It's a long way from my house to this shop but I am hooked on the Ahmad Cardamon tea.

Amazing discovery

Discovered in Leeds when we ordered a cup of tea and were served this. Amazing taste, unlike anything we’d had before. Weirdly enough, while we were drinking it a woman walked past with an Ahmad Tea cloth bag. It was the full experience 😊

The only tea for me

The Earl Grey and Cardamom teas are two of my favourites, and I always make sure the cupboard is fully stocked with these at all times! Not only are they delicious teas, I just love the warm cosy feeling of receiving my Ahmad parcel, all lovingly wrapped up - makes me feel like a kid at Christmas!

Perfectly balanced cardamom flavor

Bought three boxes of these out of curiosity for the flavor of Cardamom. Great balance of the black tea. The taste of the Cardamom is not overpowering. Clean taste despite its warmth.

I'm drinking it in a rainy afternoon while writing this. Hoping for more variation in our local supplier in the Philippines.
