Grapefruit, Mate & Guarana Seed "Energy" Infusion - Teabags
Product Code : 2036
Sometimes we need a little help getting from sleepy to sprightly. Our Energy Infusion has been created to help you do just that. A bold blend of caffeine-rich mate, mint, grapefruit and lemongrass – it makes for a truly invigorating cuppa. Give yourself a naturally uplifting boost on sluggish days with this ‘get-up-and-go’ fruit and herb tea.
Our Tea Masters start this vivacious blend with mate. Pronounced ‘mah-tey’, this herbal tea is a traditional hot drink in South America, steeped from the leaves of the yerba holly bush. Its fresh, grassy flavour makes it a refreshing alternative to black teas. To make the blend even more energising we add guarana seeds (containing more than double the caffeine of coffee beans!) and vitamin B6, which can help reduce tiredness and fatigue. To balance the flavours, we add peppermint leaves, zesty lemongrass, lemon verbena and grapefruit, plus a touch of warming cinnamon. Sunshine-orange in colour, this blissful herbal tea draws you in with its heady aromas of citrus and mint, re-energising you before you’ve even taken a sip.
You’ll find 20 teabags in this box, string-tagged for easy brewing in a cup or pot. Each teabag is foil-sealed to lock in its flavours and ensure every infusion is as fresh as the last. To start your day with a bang, a cup of Ahmad Tea Energy infusion is the ideal choice. Wake up to the invigorating flavours of mint, citrusy grapefruit and fragrant lemon balm, then enjoy the effects of the naturally stimulating ingredients.
Each and every morning, my favourite cup of tea would be English Breakfast. It’s strong, it’s coloury, it’s got a wonderful nutty flavour that I really do enjoy, and it takes the milk well.
William Manning, Senior Tea TasterIn the UK Head Office we taste over 500 cups of tea every day, to search for the best quality teas available from around the world.
Dominic Marriot, Tea TasterLater on in the afternoon I might try something like a Darjeeling that has the muscatel flavour, or maybe even a high-grown Ceylon, but definitely my favourite brew, and the one that I drink the most of, is English Breakfast.
